About this Event
Protest is an act of radical hope. Naming what is wrong in the world is an act of courageous belief that there is within our collective imaginations, a better way forward. Join us for an afternoon of protest poetry writing--we'll employ various methods of creative composition in order to pull together words that ring true for the grief and horror of this present moment---and in naming that grief, we will take the first step towards healing. Everyone who joins us will have an opportunity to read their poem(s) at the end of our time together, and 10% of proceeds from this event will be donated to the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition.
