Explore concepts of trauma-informed practice with an expert: assess your organisation, gain practical tools, and connect through discussion.
About this Event

Join the SES CIPD Wellbeing Special Interest Group for an interactive event exploring the core concepts of trauma-informed practice, led by expert guest speaker Liz Russell. Liz is a Trauma Informed Development Officer at Moray Council and active member of the Trauma Informed Leads Network. She contributes to Scotland’s national effort to embed trauma-informed principles across all sectors.

At this event, you’ll gain a clear understanding of what trauma-informed approaches look like in the workplace and why they matter for people professionals and the organisations they support.

You’ll learn the key concepts of trauma-informed practice and how to assess where your organisation currently stands, identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities, and access practical tools that can be applied immediately.

The event also includes group discussions and networking opportunities, enabling you to share experiences and learn from your peers.

Participants will leave with a resource pack to support embedding trauma-informed approaches into their organisations daily practices.

This event is ideal for a wide variety of HR and people practitioners, students, and professionals looking to build more supportive, inclusive, and effective organisational cultures.
