About this Event
In the chaos of our daily lives, there are numerous yoga practices that we can do to help us to quiet our minds in order to bring us peace. One of the practices that we can utilize is Meditation.
In this class, Bryan & Elizabeth will introduce different mantras and share stories associated with them and when you can use them. Then they will guide us through a "Japa practice" with the mantras. Each week we will work with different mantras.
Mantra meditation, aka Japa meditation, is an ancient yogic practice of repeating a sound, word, or phrase (a mantra) to focus the mind. By repeating the mantra it gives the mind an anchor to achieve a state of relaxation or deeper awareness.

This is a free offering for our community made available through the Grand Valley Yoga Fest.
Dress comfortably and feel free to bring your own meditation cushion or japa mala if you want.
