About this Event
Join us for four days filled with fun Science based craft activities.
The Pointer School Holiday club is a childcare facility for children aged 3 - 11. We offer a varied program of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games and educational play to stimulate and entertain children.
Our arts and crafts are based on the theme of the week and include weekly special events and visitors.
The Holiday Club offers a safe environment with excellent adult: child ratios, under the watchful eye of our experienced staff who are all DBS checked. All our leaders are pediatric first aid qualified, and have experience in the Early Years.
Please provide your child with a cold nut-free pack lunch, a fruit snack for the morning and a refillable water bottle.

Day 1 Sensory fun
Info: Today the children will explore the sensory side of Science. Our youngest children will make galaxy playdough and our older children will experiment with fizzing moon rocks.

Day 2 Silly Science workshop and Space Day
Info: Today all the children will be visited by The Education Group who will be bringing their Silly Science workshop. In addition our younger children will be making their own craft planets whilst our older children will be making their own craft rocket ships.

Day 3 Nature and The Human Body
Info: Today all of our children will be getting their hands dirty making seed bombs to bring home and scatter in their gardens/communal space. Our eldest children will also be using their investigative skills during a Forensic Science workshop-will they be able to solve the crime! Our younger children will also be making their own craft hand skeletons.

Day 4 Hands on Craft
Info: Today our eldest children will be making no glue or borax slime, whilst our younger children create starfish paintings with bubble wrap. Our party afternoon will bring this weeks activites to a close.
