About this Event
Born from a shared commitment to justice, love, and radical imagination, We See Things They’ll Never See: Love, Hope, and Neurodiversity invites us to challenge what is considered “normal” and reimagine our collective future.
We invite you to join us for an evening of dialogue and celebration marking the launch of this powerful new book by Dr Chantelle Jessica Lewis and Prof Jason Arday.
Bringing together social theory, lived experience, and a politics of care, We See Things They’ll Never See explores how neurotypical hegemony shapes our institutions, and how love, hope, and solidarity can offer pathways toward liberation.
The evening will include reflections from an author and other speakers on the central ideas of the book, followed by an open Q&A and drinks reception.
Event registration opens at 6:30pm. You must register before 7:00pm when the event starts in the Lecture Theatre.
