We Come to You - Group Pottery Workshop

Explore this beautiful ancient art together with friends at your next gathering. We will bring all the equipment and materials you need for a fun and engaging introduction to hand-building pottery class. You don't need any prior skills - just bring your creativity and your friends and loved ones!

Our mobile workshops accommodate from 8 - 16 people, making it a great choice for medium sized groups looking to build bonds and make any occasional unique and extra special. The price includes all clay, tools and material and a professionally finished and glazed piece for each participant.

After the class, we'll take your pieces back to our studio to dry, fire, and professionally glaze them. You'll receive your finished pieces in around four weeks, ready to display or use as a reminder of your special occasion.

What you get

What the venue will need

• A large room with table/tables and chairs, where all participants have space to sit comfortably.
• A cup of coffee/tea or alternatively, a glass or two of wine.
• A place for participants to wash their hands and potter to clean-up after the event.
• Accessible parking will be required at the premises for unloading/loading of materials and final pieces.
• Message for available dates/times.

• Approx. 2-2.5 hours.

Capacity

• Minimum 8 people – maximum 16 people.

Skill Level

• No prior experience required.

Your Host

Over the past three years, Hayley has imparted her knowledge of pottery with the community. Her approachable yet professional demeanor makes her an excellent fit for facilitating group activities, where she is able to foster a creative and enjoyable atmosphere.

Terms and Conditions

Parking & Access

Accessible parking will be required at the premises for unloading/loading of materials and final pieces. Please message before booking if you’re unsure if parking will be an issue for us.

Setup/Cleanup

We will need access to the venue around 1 hour prior and 1/2-1 hour for post event cleanup.

Hand-building Workshop

This is a hand-building workshop. The pottery wheel is not included in this event.

Breakage

Please be aware that the nature of pottery is a delicate one, and occasionally a piece will break or crack in the kiln. We always do our best to ensure your piece arrives intact but if your piece does break, a refund can not be offered.

Return of Pieces

Finished pieces will be returned to your preferred venue at our expense once completed. This usually takes between 4-6 weeks due to the extended process of drying, bisque firing, glazing, glaze-firing and packaging.
