W.A.R. RACING GROUP - 2026 S.A. FORD V FERRARI CHALLENGE

The next points event of the 2026 W.A.R. Driver Championship/"Pom" Jones Trophy is the 2026 Ford v Ferrari Challenge to be held on Saturday 13 June 2026 from 4pm.

There will be 2 rounds of racing:
Round 1 – 132 Ford v Ferrari class
- 6 x 5 minute heats on the Brabham track
Round 2 – 124 BRM Ford v Ferrari class
- 6 x 5 minute heats on the Brabham track

$20 entry fee per driver

Points will be awarded to each driver based on their finishing position in each round.
The winner of the 2026 Ford v Ferrari Challenge will be the driver with the most accumulated points over the two rounds raced.
The winner of the Challenge will be awarded 100 points towards the 2026 W.A.R. Driver Championship/"Pom" Jones Trophy.

Attached are the class rules and the conduct rules.

Plaques and certificates will be awarded to the drivers finishing first, second and third in each class, as well as to the driver who wins the Race Director's Award.
Spectators are most welcome to attend as well.

RACE PROGRAM - SATURDAY 13 June 2026
10AM – 3.55PM PRACTICE & SCRUTINEERING
3.55PM SCRUTINEERING ENDS
4PM – 5.30PM RACING FOR ROUND 1
BREAK
6PM – 7.30PM RACING FOR ROUND 2

There are also three practice sessions scheduled before the Challenge:
Wednesday 10 June 2pm - 9pm
Thursday 11 June 12 Noon - 9pm
Friday 12 June 12 Noon - 9pm
There is a $15 entry fee for attending practice sessions, but that one entry fee covers your attendance to ALL the practice sessions.

It should be a great day of Ford v Ferrari racing.
