About this Event
Tucked away between the City of London's skyscrapers, office blocks and grand buildings, there's another world of pocket gardens in ruined churchyards, rooftop terraces and atmospheric alleyways. On this tour you can enjoy these beautiful spaces while learning about the City's rich and turbulent history.
Please note that the tour is all outside and will take place whatever the weather, so please wear suitable clothing and shoes. It takes two hours and we will set off promptly so please arrive on time. There are some steps and uneven pavements.

This is a new tour, so no reviews yet but here are some reviews of my other tours from happy customers on Footprints of London's TripAdvisor page:
"We went on The Literary City tour by Jenny Mill. It was fantastic. Jenny's tour was a lovely route combining places of literary interest with gorgeous little green spaces and quiet spots, which we will revisit. She spoke loudly and clearly and presented just the right amount of information."
"I booked a private Literary City tour, as it wasn’t scheduled for the day I was in town. I’m so glad that Jenny was able to accommodate us for the tour! I’m a British Lit PhD student and Jenny had plenty to teach me. She also did a great job of explaining She’s incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable—highly recommend :)"
