Gudrun Victoria Gotved kemur til okkar í hofið í Öskjuhlíð á Völvuhelgi 23. og 25. janúar næstkomandi. Á föstudeginum 23. janúar mun Gudrun endurtaka námskeið frá í fyrra um rúnir og rúnagerð. Námskeiðið hefst kl. 19:00. og kostar 3.000 kr.
Skráning fer fram með að senda töluvpóst á [email protected] og er öllum opið. Skrifstofan mun svara póstum með reikningsupplýsingum til að greiða fyrir skráningu. (Skrifstofan er lokuð til 5. jan og verður póstum þá svarað í þeirri röð sem þeir hafa borist).

Sunnudaginn 25. janúar mun Gudrun mæta aftur í hofið og halda tvo fyrirlestra. Fyrra erindið hefst kl. 14:00 og fjallar um hulduverur utan Íslands og samband Gudrunar við þær. Gudrun mun einnig koma inn á samband sitt við íslenskar hulduverur.
Síðar sama dag verður Gudrun með annað erindi sem hefst kl. 17:00 og fjallar um verkfæri Völvunnar. „Völva er svokölluð vitur kona. Hún veitir leiðsögn, hún læknar og er sjáandi. Sumir kalla okkur hinar norrænu seiðkonur (norse shaman)”.
Ókeypis aðgangur er á báða fyrirlestra og öllum opnir. Best er að mæta tímanlega til að tryggja sér sæti.

Introduction to the magical world of runes.
Would you like to get an introduction to the messages of the runes? Then this workshop is just for you.
The Völva from Ribe, also known as Gudrun Victoria Gotved, will guide you through the entire Elder Futhark, presenting each individual rune and explaining how she interprets them. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to create your own set of runes; please bring 24 stones or wooden tiles that are as similar as possible. Wooden tiles can also be purchased. If you already have a set of runes that you use, please bring it along.
In this workshop, you will not become a "certified rune reader" nor will you receive any certificate. Becoming a rune reader takes time and requires only the runes and your own hard work. However, you will receive an introduction, an overview of the subject, and you will learn how Gudrun works with the runes.
Duration: Approximately 3 hours.

The hidden people are normally very connected to iceland, but they live all over the world. In this lecture Gudrun talks about her relationsihp with “The Little Ones” as she sometimes calls these beings from other dimensions, with whom she often communucates, and has also been allowed to see once. She also shows examples of gifts and signs from them. Several examples of encounters with these are given, both her own and those of others.

A Völva is a kind of “Wise Woman”. She is a coach, a healer, and a seer. Some call us, “The norse Shaman”. In this lecture Gudrun will go deepers into the tools she uses as a Völva. Both the herbs, the songs, the runes and the seiðr. She will show example of the songs she uses, and also there will be a possibility to draw a rune and get a good advice from it.
About Gudrun Victoria Gotved.
Born in 1964, she has been a follower of Ásatrú and spiritually inclined since childhood. Co-founder of "Forn Siðr, Asa and Vanetrú Community in Denmark" and co-founder of the religious community "Nordisk Skik". She has served as a ritual officiant for over 25 years, being called a völva for over 20 years. She has been employed as a völva at the Ribe Viking Center for over 15 years and has worked with the wisdom of the runes for just as long. Well-versed in various Norse source texts, knowledgeable in herbalism, a healer, lecturer, author, and debater.
