About this Event
Join the free book club organized by VOX Delft and Studium Generale!
This quarter we’ll be reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, the 1962 novel by American author Ken Kesey. It tells the tale of psychiatric patients at a mental health hospital who rebel against their institution and its control over their lives.
Let’s explore the work and its context together.
We’ll be meeting twice, plus an extra movie night:
Wednesday, April 22nd, 12:45pm: Introduction and book distribution in the Nook (TUD Library)
TBA, 7:00pm: book discussion in the Nook (TUD Library)
Thursday, May 28th, 7:30pm: Outdoor screening of the 1975 movie on the TUD Library roof
Please register for the VOX Book Club so we know how many people to expect.
We’ll have a dozen free copies of the book to give away to the lucky few! For the rest of us there are eBooks and hard copies available at (online) retailers.
