About this Event
Since 2009, the annual Logan Square Arts Festival (LSAF) has been one of the most enjoyable and well-attended events in the Logan Square calendar, and Trash People are delighted to be one of their official charity partners for the second year in a row!
LSAF aims to promote & support the vibrant culture of Logan Square. This year's event will feature 30 bands over three days and the work of 70 local artists, makers, and artisanal vendors, all at the intersection of Logan Boulevard, Kedzie, and Milwaukee Avenue. We can't wait!
We know our community of Trash People love to get involved, meet new people & contribute to the neighborhood - so we'll be helping our friends at the Arts Fest by greeting visitors at the gates and sharing information about the work we do in the neighborhood, as well as collecting any donations that visitors would like to make.
A portion of all gate donations will go to Trash People to fund our work hosting hyper-local clean ups across the city, hosting our regular Volunteer Fairs and running our resource redistribution proejct, The Parlor! If you've attended and enjoyed our events in the past, this is a great way to spread the word and help us fundraise in order to continue the work of our organization.
Trash people who volunteer at the event will NOT ONLY have a swell time, but you'll also receive a limited edition Logan Square Arts Fest t-shirt (select your size when signing up), be entered into a raffle to win small local business prizes, and enjoy free coffee and beers across the festival weekend!

This event will be a great way to reconnect with folks you may have met at our events previously, as well as meet new ones. Please note if you register interest via Eventbrite, and we'll share your information with the LSAF team.
This event really is a fun time, so feel free to sign up for multiple shifts over multiple days.
