About this Event
Join VOCA on Sat., Feb. 28 for our 16th Annual Cabaret / Silent Auction!
Our CABARET will feature a wide variety of wonderful acts (solos, duos, trios and small and large ensembles) and instruments (voice, piano, flute, guitar and more!) presenting jazz, musical theatre, folk/roots, opera and pop selections. Numerous VOCA choristers will be performing, along with members of our professional staff, including artistic director Jenny Crober, soprano Noelle Slaney, tenors David Walsh and Timmy Mo and baritone Sean Pentinga.
Host Emily Vick Agnew will masterfully lead us through a magical evening of music-making and camaraderie in a spacious venue with cabaret seating, stage, sound & lighting.
Savoury & sweet appetizers and a cash bar will be 'on the menu'.
Our SILENT AUCTION will feature an eclectic array of offerings, including a house concert featuring artistic director Jenny Crober, pianist with violinist Jean-Paul Desaulniers, baskets filled with various delights, hand-crafted items, scrumptious home-baking, bottles of fine wine ... and more. *Payments can be made using cash, credit, cheques or e-transfers.
