MUSEUM CLOSURES IN MAY
Main entrance closed - Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 May
The main entrance to the museum will be closed to public visitors. The West entrance will be open, and visitors will be directed to use this. Disabled visitors will be able to access the main museum entrance as normal. The ground floor cafe will be closed. The coffee shop on Floor 2 will be open. The museum's galleries will be open as usual.
Museum closed - Monday 18 to Thursday 21 May (inc)
The museum will be closed to the general public from for a major conference.
The national collection of arms and armour is brought to life everyday with live combat demonstrations and dramatic presentations.
Admission to the Royal Armouries Museum is free. Please pre-book your visit.

10:00am - 5:00pm | Tuesday - Sunday
Closed Mondays during term time.

Crossbow Challenge is managed by our expert team, who will provide guidance and full instructions on operating the crossbow. As these are real crossbows, we kindly ask that children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult.
Please be aware that during peak times, there might be a wait of up to an hour. To avoid a queue and visit between 10am to 11:30am.
