We’ve turned our upstairs space into a cosy, old-school cinema lounge. Dim lights, a white screen, with a retro DIY feel, as timeless classic flicker to life just like they once did.
Think vintage charm, DIY artistry, and that nostalgic feeling of discovering film in the old days.
Like a drive-in theatre, reimagined indoors.
This month, we’re screening “Metropolis”
Metropolis is a silent film from 1927- 99 years old!
It is the pioneer of the sci-fi genre as the first ever full length sci-fi film.
Metropolis is also the most influential sci-fi film ever created and was the most expensive film to be made during it's time.
If you're interested in how film began, this movie is a must watch classic.
