About this Event
As part of this national day of service, ITAVFoundation in partnership with The Comfort Giver, are supporting single-parent households through direct resource distribution. Families will receive care packages, which include, baby wipes, hygiene products, and essential household items.
The Village Promise Wall is an interactive workshop component of Village Care Day, designed to create space for reflection and intention. Participants will be invited to think about how they want to show up in their lives and communities, and write a personal promise.
These promises can be simple and meaningful, such as committing to support a neighbor, prioritize personal growth, or show kindness in everyday moments. Each participant will then add their message to a shared wall, creating a collective expression of community, accountability, and care.
This event is rooted in the belief that showing up for one another, in both big and small ways, strengthens our communities. Village Care Day creates a welcoming space where families can access support, feel seen, and experience care in action.
Free natural Water ice will be provided by Tessy's Natural Water Ice.
Free Snacks and light beverages will be provided.
Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
