This is the long-awaited Full Stack application cohort provided by VetsinTech!
About this Event

This course is for those that seek to excel in application and web development. Open to active duty, veterans, and military/veteran spouses. This 6-month cohort is designed to take learners from basic knowledge and propel them into full application developers. This course will fully-equip students for the job market.

This course is valued at more than $15,000 and is being provided at scholarship pricing!

This course is a 6-month commitment at minimum of 5 hours per day, Monday thru Friday

Registration Requirements:

MUST be Active Duty, Trainsitioning Veteran, Separated Veteran, or Spouse of one of these

MUST commit to attending the Orientation and all daily sessions. Orientation will be held the week prior to the course beginning. This Orientation will be at 9AM Pacific. Details will be shared upon acceptance into the course.

Students that do not attend the Orientation will not be allowed to attend the course unless arrangements are made through the Education Director or Education Coordinator.

Priority seating for the course will be for unemployed students. If remaining slots are available, seats will be assigned accordingly.

Preferred :

• Participants should some basic have knowledge of HTML 5, CSS and Fundamentals of JavaScript. If not, this will be covered during the course.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 10AM - 3PM Pacific (1-6 Eastern), (5 hours each day), 25 hours per week.

Please be prepared to have cameras on during class, and to be intereactive in the video chat & Slack. We highly recommend using a second monitor so that you can be watching the instructor on one screen and completing activities on the other. (This is important for the purpose of becoming proficient and efficient with the programming).

The MERN Stack training course is designed to demonstrate how to utilize the MERN stack together to create functional full-stack applications.
The course begins by laying a foundation in the Node.js platform and leveraging its power, then moves into single page application development with React. Next, it analyzes web services via the Express web application framework built on Node.js.
The course concludes with an exploration of the NoSQL database, MongoDB.
