About this Event
We're partnering with local Cincinnati nonprofit, Vets and Brews, to bring this tattoo contest back to Over-the-Rhine for the second year.
The contest is open to veterans, civilians, and anyone ready to show off their ink and share the stories behind it. It will feature multiple tattoo categories and each category will recognize one winner from the veteran’s division and one from the civilian’s division, with contestants having the opportunity to share their stories behind their meaningful ink. For contestants interested in participating in the contest, a is encouraged. Day-of entry is also possible.
The event will also include a custom art auction with an original piece from Vietnam veteran and renowned tattoo artist Dana Brunson, whose work has been celebrated nationwide.
Vets and Brews, founded in 2019 by Matt DeMaris, is a nonprofit initiative with a mission to buy every veteran in America a beer. Through $10 donations, Vets and Brews provides a pint to a veteran, with additional funds supporting Patriot’s Landing, a nonprofit that helps veterans transition to civilian life.
