About this Event
Learn how to ID common upland plants, discover why upland habits are important and gain confidence to undertake field surveys in the uplands. Whether your a student starting out in your career, someone looking to change career, or just someone interested in learing more about upland habitats, our workshop is aimed at anyone new to the environment sector. During the workshop, we will:
- Learn how to identify key upland plant species
- Discover common upland habitats and find out why we care about them
- Become familiar with different habitat classification systems
- Practice mapping upland habitats
No prior ecology or botany experience required! Just an enthusiasm for ecology and an eagerness to learn.
