Welcome to Edinburgh Mend in Public Day 2025!
Come join Edinburgh Street Stitchers and Fashion Revolution Scotland outside The Pavilion Cafe on the Meadows to learn how to repair what you wear. Bring a garment that you want to mend and our volunteers will show you how. We will have needles, threads, scissors, buttons, patches and some fabric scraps for you to use. Whether you've been mending for years or have never held a needle, join us for some fun and to learn garment repair tips.
Copies of Stitch It Don't Ditch It - simple hand-sewn repairs to help you love your clothes for longer, will be available to buy. Co-author Mary will be available to sign and dedicate copies. See you there!
