About this Event
ANZAC Day Lunch
Distance shouldn't mean a lack of connection. This April 25th, we invite our Australian and New Zealand community—and those who wish to stand with them—to join us for an informal lunch of remembrance and mateship.
Beyond honouring those who served, we are celebrating the enduring bond between our nations. With shared history between the Royal Scots regiment and the ANZACs, there is no better place to gather. Join us for a glass of fizz, a themed lunch, and live music from a New Zealand performer Tom Hunt as we share stories, observe the silence, and enjoy those small tastes of home (yes, there will be chocolate fish!).
We are honoured to host Jock Anderson, renowned journalist for the NZ Times, alongside a representative from the Royal Scots Regiment. Together, they will explore the historic ties between our regiment and the ANZAC forces—a bond forged in the trenches and maintained through generations.
Whether you’re a regular at the Club or a Kiwi/Aussie missing home, you are welcome here.
There is a commemorative service at Edinburgh Castle at 1100 for those who would like to attend this beforehand.
