In this three-part workshop series, you'll learn how to transform pre-owned clothing into a custom upcycled vest, guided by Studio Dialectica's founder and designer, Arushi. Whether you're new to sewing or looking to deepen your garment construction skills, this workshop is all about creativity, sustainability, and learning by doing.
Over the course of three thursdays, you will:
🧷 Learn how to properly take your own body measurements
📐 Draft a vest pattern from scratch
🎨 Design your vest using your own fabrics/clothing (we will also provide fabric)
✂️ Cut your fabric and construct your piece
You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind upcycled vest that fits you and reflects your personal style, plus the skills to tackle small sewing projects at home!
