UNTOLD Stories: Open Mic

Location: Glad Day Lit, 32 Lisgar St, Toronto
UNTOLD Stories is an intimate, living room style open mic created by and for Black members of the queer and trans community. This is a space to share, witness, and listen to each others stories within a community that sees us and wants to listen.
Bring any medium or form of expression. Whether you’re sharing for the first time or returning to the mic, this space is about presence, care, and truth.
There will be refreshments and some instruments provided. Harm reduction supplies will also be available.
Please RSVP for numbers and snacks! You are also welcome to donate any amount, any donations go towards snack and future events.

- Personal or family stories
- Poetry or prose
- Fiction or non-fiction
- Song or instrumental pieces
- Visual art (and speaking about it)
- Journal entries
- Dance, improv, performance art
- Comedy set
Instruments will be available | DJ set by @Nsaa_spins | Refreshments provided | Good company, deep listening
