Many people in wellness spaces are the ones others rely on - the caretakers, helpers, healers, teachers, and high-functioning “strong ones.” They’re capable, empathetic, and responsible. And often quietly exhausted.
Unravel & Restore is a gentle, trauma-informed workshop designed to help participants understand why patterns like people-pleasing, perfectionism, and over-responsibility form, and how these patterns, while once protective, can eventually lead to burnout, numbness, or disconnection.
Rather than focusing on fixing or forcing change, this experience invites participants to slow down, soften, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels safe, compassionate, and regulating.
Through simple somatic movement, nervous system practices, and guided reflection, participants will explore how the body holds stress, and how to begin releasing what it no longer needs to carry.
This workshop is accessible to all levels and does not require any prior knowledge of trauma work or nervous system education.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL EXPERIENCE
-A grounded exploration of what it means to always be “the strong one”
-Trauma-informed insights into why burnout often affects the most capable people
-Gentle reflection on patterns such as people-pleasing, perfectionism, and hyper-responsibility
-Nervous system practices to support regulation and self-connection
-Somatic movement to help the body release stored tension and restore balance
Unraveling is not falling apart.
It is the process of gently releasing the survival patterns that once protected us, and creating more space for safety, awareness, and self-permission.
