Inspired by Priscilla Dobler Dzul: Water Carries the Stories of Our Stars and Boren Banner Series: Camille Trautman, this captivating evening features ekphrastic responses—creative pieces made in direct response to a work of visual art—from multidisciplinary artist Arabella, composer Eddie Mospan, poet Caleb Thomson, and interdisciplinary collective Til the Teeth. With an emphasis on collaboration and genre-bending performances, each event presents a fresh lineup of local artists, offering a unique blend of sight, sound, and spoken word. Created in partnership with Eric M. Acosta, founder of Unpoetry, this series provides an immersive experience that invites new ways to engage with current exhibitions by listening, feeling, and finding meaning.
