About this Event
In this session our USMC EFMP Attorney, Karen Taylor, will walk clients through planning for the future of their exceptional child. She will discuss the concept of guardianship and conservatorship, both court-run programs designed to provide exceptional children with adequate supports to aid in decision-making as they grow-up. Karen will provide an in-depth overview of how to implement both programs and the legal documentation necessary for successful implementation. This presentation outlines these legal protections concisely and provides best practices for respecting the autonomy of the exceptional child.
