Understanding Masculinity and Tackling Misogyny Professional Training Aims to provide professionals with the knowledge and confidence to raise young people’s awareness of gender stereotypes and their impact. To empower professionals with the knowledge and skills to develop young people’s critical engagement with online and offline misogyny. By the end of the training participants will be able to
- Describe the harm gender stereotypes cause young people of all genders
- Define misogyny and give examples of how it affects young people
- Understand the impact of digital content on young people’s gender norms and values
- Recognise and mitigate the push-pull factors that attract young people towards extreme ideologies
- Feel confident in raising young people’s awareness of misogyny and tackle harmful ideas in the classroom

We offer free and confidential relationship and sexual health services to those under 25 at our Brook Clinics across the UK. London Sexual Violence Education at Brook
Thanks to generous funding from NHS England, the London Sexual Violence team provides 60 free hours of support to young people (aged 14-25) and professionals on topics related to sexual violence. This support is available in various educational settings across London, including secondary schools, PRUs, and youth projects.
