This workshop challenges traditional notions of manhood and explores the courage it takes to embrace vulnerability. We'll unpack “vulnerability,” how societal expectations can breed emotional imbalances, and how "soul M**der" (as bell hooks describes it) silences men's authentic selves. We'll create a space to reimagine connection and intimacy, and explore how these themes differ for queer, straight, and trans men in San Francisco.Join David F Khalili, LMFT (Founder of Castro’s couples and sex therapy practice Rouse Relational Wellness, and author of "Mental Health Workbook for Men") to discuss these questions and more in an inclusive and interactive talk on social, emotional and psychological well-being for men and those who were socialized as men.

*This talk is open to men of all sexual identities, relationship structures, and is trans and nonbinary inclusive. Expand your definition of masculinity, sex, and dating. You'll participate in discussions, practical activities, and shared reflections, leaving you with actionable steps and more questions to chew on.
