Under 21 Open Mic & SPOKES Showcase @ SF Public Library

Join us in celebration of Youth Speaks' iconic youth advisory council, better known as SPOKES, for a special night of power and poetry. SPOKES is a cohort of 10 youth artists and community leaders who help facilitate our monthly Under 21 Open Mics and curate a week long summer camp around political education and organizing every Spring (Jun 9-13, 2025).

Show up and show out for these incredible young artists who are as dedicated to their craft as they are their communities. This event will have an abridged Open Mic before the showcase portion starts to accommodate 5 performers from the audience.

This is a mask recommended event where masks will be available. Performers will be asked to COVID test at the event in order to perform on mic without a mask on.
