This guided heritage walk invites you to wander through one of Singapore’s most atmospheric neighbourhoods, where pastel shophouses, graceful mansions, and age-old traditions sit effortlessly alongside modern café culture. Along the way, we uncover the rich tapestry of culture and heritage, lifestyle and leisure, arts and entertainment, and—most memorably—the iconic food traditions that define the Katong-ites.

Our journey unfolds gently from Marine Parade into the heart of Katong–Joo Chiat. Dress comfortably and let yourself meander, as this leisurely walk takes just over an hour. With every step, stories emerge: of seaside retreats turned fashionable enclaves, of Peranakan families who shaped a distinctive way of life, and of a neighbourhood that has always marched to its own elegant rhythm.

As we stroll, keep your eyes open for charming public art murals—some bold and unmistakable, others tucked away like little secrets waiting to be discovered.
