East Coast Comedy presents Maitreyi Karanth from HK fresh from her Melbourne Comedy Festival run where she debuted her comedy hour to rave reviews and audiences.

Maitreyi Karanth began her comedy career in her 40s and since then has quickly risen up the comedy ranks in HK being the first woman to sell out a 400 seat solo theatre show doing 10 sold out shows. She's opened for Tom Cotter, Gina Yashere, Atul Khatri, Paul Ogata and made her Australian debut at the Sydney's Factory Theatre.
Smart, assured, confident and sassy - Maitreyi is a trailblazing comedian who stitches together a tapestry of observational comedy based on her experiences who's unafraid of pushing the boundaries of comedy.
Time
Doors Open at 6 p.m at Monk's Brew Club right in the heart of the Joo Chiat. The show will start approximately at 7:30 p.m with a short intermission of 15 mins and the whole programme will end by 9 p.m.
