Join the African American Museum in Philadelphia for our annual Opening Kwanzaa Unity Celebration! In the spirit of Umjoa, (Unity), which means “to strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race,” this fun, family-friendly event will feature live drumming, the lighting of the Kinara, and a chance to learn about the Nguzo Saba—the seven principles of Kwanzaa.
