The UMKC Conservatory is thrilled to invite student jazz ensembles to campus for a full day of music, learning, and inspiration! Your group will enjoy three 30-minute blocks—warm-up, performance, and a clinic—with our world-class faculty: Carl Allen, Marcus Lewis, Stephen Martin, Nate Nall, and Roger Wilder.Festival highlights include a midday student concert and an evening performance by the UMKC Jazz Orchestra featuring our guest artist, Dr. Damani Phillips - a saxophonist, composer, author, educator, and recording artist.
Space is limited to the first 20 groups, and spots will go fast. We can’t wait to hear your students and share an unforgettable day of jazz! 🎷✨
