About this Event
We are delighted to invite you to our next Strategic Partner Group event, taking place on Thursday 29th January 2026 at Patch St Pauls, 58-60 Carter Ln, London EC4V 5EF.
Strength is a vital component of lifelong health, forming a key part of physical activity guidelines to slow age-related decline and to help minimise muscle loss, including for those using weight-loss medications. This panel will explore new insights from an upcoming report developed by ukactive in partnership with Les Mills and supported by Active Insights, launching at our SPG event in January. The report draws on ukactive’s Consumer Engagement polling data to better understand public perceptions and behaviours around strength training. Our discussion will highlight trends across demographic groups—such as age, gender, and health conditions—revealing how aware, confident, and engaged different communities are with strength training.
Panellists will consider how consumers are currently using fitness and leisure facilities to support their strength goals, as well as the emerging intersection between GLP-1 Medic*tion use and strength-training engagement.
The session will also examine the sector’s crucial role in building awareness, providing trusted information, and creating accessible environments where people can begin their strength-training journeys.
Please join us for a relaxed evening of drinks and networking to unwind and continue your conversations with fellow industry leaders and peers that evening.
Please note that spaces are limited to two per organisation. If you require an additional spot, please contact your account manager, and we will add you to the waitlist.
