About this Event
As part of the UCL200 bicentennial celebrations, we will be highlighting the breadth and impact of dementia research at UCL – past, present and future – through interactive booths from research groups around the university.
The Dementia Research Showcase will take place on the 18th of September. Please select the time slot that you're aiming to attend. For those who require a more relaxed viewing of the booths, we have allocated the slot of 10:00-11:00.
The showcase will finish with a screening of the BBC documentary The Jennings vs Alzheimer's, which explores the discoveries made by researchers at UCL and UCLH that have given hope for Alzheimer’s disease over the past four decades, and the very special family that helped make it happen.
This will be followed by a Q&A session with Stuart Jennings, Professor Nick Fox (Director of the UCL's Dementia Research Centre) and Professor Cath Mummery (Head of Clinical Trials at UCL's Dementia Research Centre).
To sign up for the screening, please click here for the Eventbrite.
