Experience two monologues in a full-length performance with the two Greenlandic actresses, Aviana Steinbacher and Karina Møller, in a new Greenlandic play, written by the cast in collaboration with director and dramaturg Hanne Trap Friis.
A musical, confronting and present portrayal, among other things, in a confrontation with racism, a tribute to time, life and the Greenlandic soul. The performances oscillate between the easy and the difficult, as the women talk about belonging, prejudice and longing.
The monologues each give their unique perspective on life as a Greenlandic woman in Denmark; about spirituality, everyday racism, linguistic quirks, being held responsible for one's country's problems at parties or in a fleeting meeting on the beach.
