Hailing from New Orleans, Twisted Teens bring their self-described "dusty punk" to Atlanta for an essential night at eyedrum art & music gallery. Masterminded by Caspian Hollywell (Blackbird Raum) and propelled by the unmistakable pedal steel work of Ramon "The Razor" Santos, the group has carved out a unique space where the raw intensity of Raw Power-era Stooges meets a swampy, country-fried twang. Their sound—a chaotic yet focused blend of fuzzed-out garage riffs, "rubbery" lead steel guitar, and Hollywell’s commanding, gritty baritone—defies easy categorization, feeling both like a relic of a lost American tradition and a forward-thinking "punk conduction." Known for electric live sets that have earned them a cult following from Goner Fest to London, Twisted Teens deliver a high-energy performance that is equal parts mystical and rowdy.
