About this Event
Directed by Anna Healey
Performed by MA Acting Classical
Webber Douglas Studio
Set in a bustling Hollywood studio in the late 1920s, where the magic of silent film teeters on the brink of transformation, this MA Classical Acting production reimagines Twelfth Night with cinematic flair.
Shipwrecked into this cutthroat industry, Viola, washed up, reinvents herself as a go-between for studio royalty: Orsino, “The Duke”, hopelessly in love with the untouchable Olivia, “The Countess of the Silver Screen”. But in a place built on illusion, nothing is as it seems. As identities blur and desires misfire, confusion spirals into comic chaos in this stylish, ensemble-driven version of Shakespeare’s beloved play.
