About this Event
This event is a part of academic research in UCL's IOE Department - securing a ticket does not guarantee you a place you will be followed up with a consent form and further information sheet.
Focusing on language acquisition amongst adult learners of Irish is being assessed due to the present lack of guidance and the neglect of this cohort of learners in the programming of Irish language events in the cultural sector. As such you must be 18 + to participate in this programme.
Through this programme you will be given opportunities to speak, listen to and have a bitta fun as Gaeilge in a manner that caters for your learning stage! There will be 3 sessions on the 16th of May at London Museum Docklands -
- Beginners! (A1) 10AM - 11.30AM
- Upper Beginners/Lower Intermediate! (A2/B1) 12PM-1.30PM
- Upper Intermediate! (B1 +) 2PM - 3.30PM
Each session includes some ice-breaker sessions/language warm ups followed by a tour mixed with some learning activities focusing on the Sainsbury's Archive Exhibition. You also have the option of booking a 5-10 minute online consultation session if you have any questions or concerns in the days leading up to this learning event.
