Free, accessible Youth Theatre for deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent (DDN) young people!
About this Event

Does your young person love to perform?

Do they enjoy all things creative and using their imagination?

Are they looking for a high quality, fun space where they can make friends?

Every young person has the right to self-express through drama and creativity. We know that barriers often exist for deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent (DDN) young people.

So we decided to create our very own free, accessible Youth Theatre!

About the TripleC Youth Theatre:

The Youth Theatre will be held weekly on Mondays (we ask young people to commit to attending across the term). Full dates listed below

There will be two age groups:

  • 8-11 years, 4.30pm – 5.30pm (1 hour)
  • 12-16 years, 6.00pm – 7.30pm (1.5 hours)

Sessions will be led by TripleC Youth Lead Ged Mulherin alongside Nickie Miles Wildin & Andy Duffy. We will also occasionally be joined by guest actors, writers and directors who will share their experiences within the industry.

The Youth Theatre is designed for young deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent (DDN) people with a passion for the performing arts. Together we’ll explore creativity through the use of drama-based games, improvisation, character-building, role play and storytelling.
