About Your Facilitator
York is a mindfulness educator, metaphysicist, and the founder of . After a career in academia, she transitioned to teaching mindfulness to help others create space for calm, compassion, and clarity. Her path into mindfulness was shaped by lived experiences of personal challenge and loss, deepening her commitment to practices that cultivate resilience, calm, and clarity. Alongside this, York’s exploration of Chinese Metaphysics emerged as a quest for alignment. Through the ancient wisdom of BaZi and Feng Shui, she discovered powerful tools for self-understanding, clarity of purpose, and navigating life’s transitions with greater ease.
York is a trained teacher in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from UC San Diego School of Medicine, Center for Mindfulness, and brings together mindfulness and ancient wisdom with warmth, clarity, and grounded presence.
