I AM ENOUGH Group Therapy
A safe space to rebuild you
This is a recurring, therapist-led group psychotherapy designed to support adults in understanding and working through patterns that affect emotional wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self.

Therapeutic Rationale
Group psychotherapy offers a distinctive context in which emotional and relational patterns can be noticed, explored, and understood. Within the group, individuals are able to observe how familiar ways of relating to themselves and others emerge, rather than only through retrospective discussion.
Through facilitated interaction, reflection, and shared experience, participants have opportunities to:
- observe recurring emotional and relational patterns as they emerge within group interactions
- recognise how earlier relational experiences continue to shape present-moment responses
- experiment with new ways of relating to themselves and others within a supported and contained setting
The group functions as a relational laboratory, where insight and emotional learning develop through both individual reflection and engagement with group process.
Therapeutic Outcomes
Group psychotherapy does not aim to produce immediate solutions or symptom removal. Rather, change tends to occur gradually, through ongoing participation in group process, reflection, and relational experience.
Participants commonly report developments such as:
- increased awareness of emotional and relational patterns
- greater capacity to notice, tolerate, and regulate emotional states
- improved ability to reflect on internal experiences and interpersonal responses
- reduced shame through shared understanding and normalisation
- growing comfort with closeness, difference, and emotional expression
- movement toward more flexible, grounded, and mature ways of relating
These changes often emerge over time through repeated engagement with the group and with oneself in relation to others. Over time, patterns that were once automatic may become more visible, more flexible, and more open to change. Outcomes vary depending on individual readiness, consistency of participation, and the degree to which members are able to engage with both personal and group process.
Facilitated by Lou
Trauma-informed Psychotherapist & Clinical Hypnotherapist
Lou is a trauma-informed psychotherapist who believes that real healing happens when insight is embodied, not just understood. Her approach goes beyond talk therapy, integrating neuroscience, evidence-based modalities, and experiential work that engages both the mind and body.
Who This Group Is For
This group may be appropriate for adults who:
- experience recurring emotional or relational difficulties
- notice patterns such as anxiety, emotional withdrawal, people-pleasing, or self-criticism
- are interested in increasing emotional awareness and relational capacity; emotional maturity
- can engage in a group setting with respect for others
This group is not intended to replace individual therapy and may not be suitable for individuals currently experiencing acute psychiatric crisis or requiring intensive stabilisation.
How Is the I AM ENOUGH Group Therapy Structured?
The I AM ENOUGH group is an open, recurring group psychotherapy, designed to offer both accessibility and continuity while maintaining a consistent therapeutic focus.
This means that:
- group therapy sessions are held on a monthly basis
- participants may join at any point
- there is no requirement to commit to a fixed number of sessions
- sessions do not need to be attended in sequence
- outcomes vary depending on individual engagement, readiness, and frequency of participation
Each session is guided by a central entry point, informed by the Emotional Patterns Wheel shown above. These entry points serve as starting places for reflection and group process, rather than fixed agendas or lesson plans.
Sessions are not organised around a promoted “topic of the month" and will not be mentioned prior.
What to Expect in a Session
Sessions are structured to provide safety, clarity, and containment, while allowing flexibility for meaningful group process to unfold.
A typical session includes:
- initial grounding and orientation
- introduction of the session’s entry focus
- facilitated reflection or experiential exercise
- group discussion and interpersonal processing
- integration and closing
Members are encouraged to engage at their own pace.
