About this Event
Analog electronics is the bedrock that underpins the digital world, our electrical infrastructure, our instruments, and many of the appliances we depend on to live. Analog circuits can be elegant, efficient, and lively, and without them the well-defined abstraction of the digital could not exist. It is the beautiful, messy universe of un-ideal components, stray capacitances and mandatory imperfections.
Madam data soundlabs will be conducting a 2 hour workshop in which participants build a simple amplifier that can play music or amplify an instruments. This will be a practical class for people who wish to get their hands dirty right away, following the principle that useful learning happens by doing. We will learn the basics of prototyping and debugging, as well as enough theory to get you started on understanding how this all works.
No experience is required, and all tools and materials will be provided.
