Join us for a captivating evening talk with composer and pianist Graham Fitkin, presenting Treeline — a remarkable 2,500-mile musical and cycling journey across Europe, connecting communities through trees, forests and biodiversity.
Graham will share the story of his journey from the Carpathian Mountains to Epping Forest, playing extracts of sounds recorded from specific trees and the extraordinary music they inspired. Discover how data, field recordings and community collaboration from ten countries have shaped this unique new work for piano and keyscanner.
Important Details: This is an evening indoor event. Suitable for adults and older children accompanied by an adult.
What to expect: A talk and Q&A with Graham Fitkin lasting approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
