About this Event
Join us to celebrate the publication of “Transformations: The Italian Canadian Experience”, two commemorative anthologies outlining the experiences, challenges and accomplishments of Italian immigrants across Canada.
Angelo Bolotta, project leader and editor, outlines how these powerful personal, family and community-based stories now serve as a lasting historical record of the resilience and resourcefulness of the Italian immigrant spirit. Also captured—through their own words—are the values that first-generation Canadians iternalized and carried forward from their immigrant parents and grandparents. Associate editor, Dr. Gina Valle, will share extracts from this national collection, along with other guest readers.
Copies of both volumes will be available for purchase at the event, while supplies last.
Event sponsored by the National Congress of Italian Canadians - Toronto District.
