About this Event
Transformations: The Dissolution of the Self
An Immersive Installation with Complimentary Food
Step into a space where the body refuses to hold.
Six monumental paintings form a circular field—echoing something ancient, ritualistic, inevitable.
Move clockwise: the figure dissolves, thinning toward disappearance.
Move counterclockwise: it gathers itself, emerging from a primordial field.
Nothing is fixed.
No image holds.
The body is not a subject—it is a condition in flux.
Your movement does not observe the work.
It completes it.
Stay as long as you like.
Circle. Reverse. Begin again.
Throughout the evening, artist Michelangelo Alasa' will serve complimentary food inspired by Cycladic origins—an Early Bronze Age culture of the Aegean now modern Greece. Elemental, spare, and grounded in the same material language as the work.
Come hungry.
Leave altered.
