The is designed to advance partnerships between law enforcement, schools, and behavioral/social/health providers to create a safe and supportive academic environment for children recently exposed to traumatic events known as “adverse childhood experiences” (ACEs). ACEs are broad and sweeping events that may include experiencing violence, abuse, or neglect, or witnessing violence in the home. With buffering supports, ACEs can be addressed and lead to a positive life trajectory. Children must feel safe in order to learn. Together we can create and connect youth and families to a continuum of supports.
Our expert speakers and mentors are here to provide insights and advice to help you navigate through challenges and reach your goals. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, gain knowledge, and find the support you need. Register now and let's build a stronger community together!
