About this Event
Teaching Suturing and Perineal Repair provides faculty and preceptors with a new look at clinical competencies for suturing and perineal repair. This workshop covers a wide array of teaching tools and strategies to aid learners as they develop and refine the complex behavioral skills needed to understand and perform the clinical competencies of knot-tying, suturing, and repair of birth lacerations. ACNM specialty credit Program #2024-001EA.
To ensure everyone gets individualized mentoring, the workshops are limited to 8 participants.
A suturing model, suturing instruments, and suture are included with registration. *Registration closes two weeks before event begins to allow time for supplies to arrive.*

TICKETS
Reparations Tickets are designated for Black, Brown, and Indigenous midwives as reparations for historical enslavement and genocide. Cost of this ticket is 10% of the program fee and includes all workshop materials.
Pay-What-You-Can-Tickets ensure that financial need is not a barrier to attending. Financial documentation is not required. We ask that you please pay according to your budget. The value of workshop materials is $80 and we recommend this as the minimum payment. In determining what to pay for a Pay-What-You-Can-Ticket, consider your own financial situation as well as acknowledging the cost of materials and the services of your midwife educator.
