About this Event
This Presidents' Day, join us at the Austrian Embassy for our traditional Viennese Concert Café ("Wiener Kaffeehaus Jause mit Musik"), presented by the American-Austrian Cultural Society in partnership with the Austrian Embassy in Washington, DC.
Step into the charm of a Viennese café and enjoy a leisurely afternoon filled with music, conversation, and delightful treats. Reconnect with old friends and make new ones as you sip authentic Viennese coffee, savor traditional Apfelstrudel mit Schlagobers (apple strudel with whipped cream), or indulge in a glass of Austrian wine alongside Belegte Brötchen (gourmet open-faced sandwiches).
Experience a captivating musical performance featuring celebrated mezzo-soprano Amanda Zoe Vest and baritone Scott Hetz Clark, accompanied by renowned concert pianist and conductor Mark Irchai, performing classical works by Austrian and American composers, as well as composers from around the world.
