The talk explores how traditional dance functions not only as an artistic expression, but also as a powerful tool for emotional wellbeing, social connection, and the preservation of cultural heritage across generations living abroad.
Dr Giorgos Yiallourides is a First Education Officer at the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus, specialising in Physical Education and its pedagogical development. His work brings together education, movement, and culture, promoting holistic approaches to learning and wellbeing.
This event is open to educators, cultural practitioners, and members of the wider community with an interest in Cypriot culture and diaspora life.
The lecture will be delivered in Greek.
