Tracey Emin was one of the enfants terribles known as the YBAs (Young British Artists) in the late 1980s and throughout 1990. Now she is a highly respected Royal Academician and was made a Dame (DBE) in 2024. Tate Modern’s exhibition, Tracey Emin - a Second Life, covers her whole career, including the infamous work My Bed from 1999. This lecture will cover the works in the Tate exhibition plus her tent, entitled All the People I have Slept With 1963 - 1997, which was destroyed by fire in 2004. Join Frank Woodgate, The Arts Society Lecturer, to find out more.
